This spring Amy has organized the Blogger's quilt festival, now for the third time. This time I am participating
with a brand new quilt just off the sewing machine. I was qu
ite in a hurry for 2 reasons. One is that I wanted to show this quilt on a festival, and second is that I would like to present it to its new owner next week. I think I like the result quite a lot, even though at the very end I made 2 small puckers on the back side. They will stay there though, because I don't want to remove any stitches. One of them will be almost covered with the binding, anyways. This is the third l
arge quilt I have made in my life, and it has the most quilting among them. I hope that the new owner (my 3 year old niece) will like it a lot too.

Love your Chinese coin quilt. Wonderful fabrics and I like the way you worked the backing.
I really love how you quilted this, esp. the outer border. The colors are beautiful, too!
Wow - no idea what language we're in. Pressed what I thought was the right button and 'hey presto' - I get to leave a comment.
Beautiful quilt - especially like the back.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my festival quilt. This festival is fun and I am enjoying seeing all the quilts. I love the fabrics you chose for this quilt. Turquoise is my favourite colour! The single strip down the back is a wonderful touch!

I like this coins quilt and the new blocks you're working on too. I've seen that pattern somewhere before and always thought it looked interesting.
