Fél szegély / Half border

Találtam az anyagaim között egy régi kockás pamutot, pont illik stílusában a takaróhoz. Még kap egy 10 cm-es kék szegélyt, és kész! Ezután csak azt kellene kitalálni, hogy hol tudom úgy kiteríteni, hogy össze tudjam állítani a szendvicset...

I have found a blue plaid cotton in my stash. I think it fits nicely with the style of the blanket, at least I think. I will finish the top with a 10 cm wide light blue border, and it is done. Now I will just have to find a suitable place that is large enough to make the sandwich...

Majdnem kész / Almost ready

Már együtt vannak a blokkok. Még egy szép szegély, és kereshetem a hátlapot. Az elmúlt napokban bejártam az egész várost szegély után, elmentem minden olyan textilboltba, ahol tudtam pamutvásznat a városban. Sikerült találnom egy helyen, picit ugyan halványabb mint amit eddig használtam, de örültem, hogy egyáltalán találtam valamit. Kimaradt egy  csomó kockás anyagom, kezdem a párját ennek a takarónak.

I have put together the blocks. Now I Just have to make a nice border, and then I can run around to find a suitable backing. In the last few days I was already running around for some more of the blue cotton. Finally i have foud something farely similar. It is a bit lighter, though, but I am pretty happy that I have something that is kida works. I have more plaid cotton leftover, so I will start another of this quilt.
